Open the mailbox and enter the full address including the domain — for example ivan@rormail.com, not just «ivan». That is the most common stumble on the first sign-in.

The password cannot be recovered — it is stored encrypted, and nobody can look it up, including the administrator.

Write to us and we will set a new one. Include the mailbox address and anything that confirms it is yours.

200 megabytes. That lasts a long time for correspondence, but heavy attachments — video, photo archives — eat it quickly.

When the mailbox fills up, new messages stop arriving, so it is worth deleting old messages with attachments now and then.

Any app works: Apple Mail, Thunderbird, the mail app on Android or iPhone. Choose IMAP — then messages stay on the server and are visible on every device at once.

If the app asks «POP3 or IMAP» — take IMAP. POP3 downloads messages and removes them from the server, so a second device will not see them.

Check the Spam folder first — the filter sometimes plays it safe. Mark anything found there as «not spam», and the next messages from that sender will go to the Inbox.

If it is not there either, check whether the mailbox is full and ask the sender to verify the address. Still nothing — write to us, we will look in the server log whether the message arrived at all.

Receiving works fully. Sending outside currently has a restriction on the hosting provider side, so messages to external addresses may not go out.

The connection to the server is encrypted, messages are not analysed for advertising and are not passed to third parties.

That said, email is not a secure channel by design: a message sent to another server falls under its rules. For genuinely secret things email is a poor choice, whatever the provider.

The server checks the signature of every incoming message and marks those that fail. A sender can forge the name in the «From» field, but not the domain signature.

Simple rule: a message that rushes you to pay, follow a link or reveal a password is worth double-checking another way — call, write in a messenger.
